Day 1 Airport to Arusha

Welcome to Tanzania!

Pick up customers at JRO Kilimanjaro airport and transfer to Arusha by private car for dinner and overnight in town.

If you have time you can have a town tour with your safari guide otherwise you can relax at the lodge. Main Destination: Arusha (City) Accommodation: Arusha Green Mountain Hotel ( BB).

Day 2 Arusha National Park

Program: After breakfast transfer to Arusha National Park for a game drive and a walking safari with a park ranger.

Activities: game drive and walking safari.

Arusha National Park is a mountain park between Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro, it has a different landscape compared to the other parks. You can spot white and black colobus monkeys, big mammals, and flamingos in Momela Lake (Sept/Oct). Main Destination: Arusha National Park

Best Time to visit: June to October (Animals are easier to spot)

High Season: July to March (The park never gets too crowded)

Best Weather: June to October (Little rainfall).

Day 3 Tarangire National Park

Program: After breakfast, we drive to Tarangire Park for the game drive with a picnic lunch.

Activities: game drive.

Tarangire is the river crossing Tarangire National Park, the park is famous for big herds of elephants, the huge baobab trees, and the high number of predators. There is a lot to see and explore here. Main Destination: Tarangire National Park

Best Time to visit: June to October (Animals come to the river).

High Season: June to October (The park is full of tourists).

Best Weather: June to October (Little rainfall).

Wildlife in Tarangire NP

Animals: You can view the following wildlife in this national park, Elephant, Giraffe, Lion, Buffalo, Zebra, Wildebeest.

Day 4 Lake Manyara National Park

Program: After breakfast, we proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive with a picnic lunch.

Activities: game drive.

Lake Manyara National Park is famous for biodiversity, the park includes different environments: the lake, the forest, and the plain. Tanzania wildlife: The lions climb the trees because they don’t like wet soil due to underground springs. Rich in primates, birds, and big mammals. Main Destination: Lake Manyara National Park.

Best Time to Visit: June to September (easier to spot animals)

High Season:July to March (Northern section gets crowded)

Best Weather: June to October (a few showers of rain). Dinner and overnight at Kitela Lodge.

Day 5: Lake Eyasi

After early breakfast, you will meet the Hadzabe tribe, experience their lifestyle, and follow the hunters in the bush. Then you visit another group, Datoga, who is experienced in melting metals and making tools (knife, arrow, etc.). You can also visit a local village and walk on Lake Eyasi banks with a local guide.

Activities: visit Hadzabe and Datoga tribes and Lake Eyasi banks. Main Destination: Lake Eyasi (Lake) Accommodation: Dinner and overnight at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, we drive down to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive with a picnic lunch.

Tanzania Wildlife: The Ngorongoro Crater is a must-see while on safari in Tanzania for its high density of wild animals. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a conservation project where the Masai and their livestock live together with wild animals. Main Destination: Ngorongoro Crater

Best Time to Visit: June to September (General wildlife viewing is best)

High Season: Most of the year – July to March (Expect crowds).

Best Weather: June to October (Rainfall is little to none). Dinner and overnight at Rhino lodge.

Day 7-9: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast we proceed crossing Ngorongoro Highlands until Serengeti gate, here we start the game drive for these three days.

Serengeti Park is the most famous park in all of Africa, with more than 15,000 squared kilometers of savannah full of lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, elephants, and many other wild animals. Main Destination: Serengeti National Park.

Best Time to Visit: June to February (Areas are best at different times).

High Season: July to March (The Seronera area is crowded)

Best Weather: June to October (Little to no rainfall).

Day 10 Lake Natron

After breakfast we experience the last game drive leaving Serengeti, then we proceed to Lake Natron.

Lake Natron is a salt lake located in northern Tanzania, close to the Kenyan border, in the eastern branch of Africa’s Great Rift Valley. The high water temperature (up to 41°C) and the high and very variable salt content of the lake does not support most wildlife. However, it is an important habitat for flamingos and is home to endemic algae, invertebrates, and even fish that can survive in the salty water. Main Destination: Lake Natron (Lake) Accommodation: Lake Natron Tented Camp.

Day 11 Lake Natron

Program: Today we can go down to Lake Natron waiting for sunrise and see a lot of flamingos in the lake. Later we can continue our activities at the lake and proceed to Arusha where we arrive before dinner.

Day 12 Kilimanjaro

Program: After breakfast transfer to Kilimanjaro National Park for full day trekking with a local guide. We start from Marangu Gate (1,830 m.) And climb up through the attractive and unspoiled forest to reach Mandara Huts (2,700m.) The volcanic remains of Maundi Crater are nearby and make a good extra excursion.

Activities: Kilimanjaro trekking with picnic lunch. Main Destination: Mount Kilimanjaro (Mountain).

Day 13: Kilimanjaro airport

Program: After breakfast relax at the lodge or shopping in town if you have time, then transfer to Arusha or Kilimanjaro airport. Main Destination: Kilimanjaro Airport (Airport/Airstrip) Accommodation: No accommodation (End of tour) Meals & Drinks:
