7Day Mid-range Tanzania Safari from Arusha to Tarangire National park, Lake Manyara National park, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro crater
Day 1: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, the tour departs. The first stop is Arusha Town for any last-minute purchases before we head off on safari. Afterward, we head towards the Tarangire National Park for a game drive with picnic lunch at the park. Tarangire is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the center of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest, and 30,000 zebras. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Osupuko Lodge.
Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, the tour departs head to Lake Manyara. Lake Manyara National Park offers breathtaking views and a large variety of habitats. Acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps and the lake itself. And thanks to this the small Park is able to support a large number of animal species and incredible birdlife. Manyara has the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world and the lions here are also renowned for their tree climbing. Dinner and overnight at Sangaiwe Tented Lodge.
Day 3: Serengeti National park
After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Then head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Day 4-5: National Park Serengeti game drive
After breakfast, you will have a Mid-range Tanzania Safari game viewing at Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti, Tanzania’s largest National Park, covers nearly 6,000 square miles of grassland plains, Savannah, kopjes, hills, woodlands, and River line forest systems serve as critical water sources and are often excellent sites for wildlife viewing. Beyond the heralded migration of wildebeest and zebra, the Serengeti is best known for its big predators, including cheetah and Leopard, as well as large pride of Lions and clans of Hyenas and many animals, dinner and overnight at Seronera Katikati Tented lodge
Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After early in morning breakfast you will have early in the morning Mid-range Tanzania Safari game drive later you will back to the campsite to have an early hot lunch, our driver and chef will load everything on top of our safari jeep and you will continue with game viewing en-route during your way from Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater. You will be in Ngorongoro Crater late in the evening where the night will be spent on the crater rim. Dinner and overnight will be at Ngorongoro Rhino lodge.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater back to Arusha
Today, you will have early breakfast and proceed directly to the crater floor for a 5-6hrs crater tour with picnic lunch down the crater whereby you will be able to see all the “Big Five”.
